About the CEO
Growing up in a military family, I was fortunate enough to get the chance to travel to and live in many different places of the world. I even spent 3 years living in Japan! Thanks to my adventures abroad, I learned to have a deep appreciation for all cultures. I also experienced what it was like to be a consumer in all parts of the world. I learned that no consumer is one-in-the-same and we all have different needs and desires. Through that learning experience, I discovered what is important to different cultures around the globe and have learned to apply that knowledge to curate various products and create a unique shopping experience for everyone.
After experiencing what it was like to be a consumer in different parts of the world, I knew one day that I wanted to start my own retail business that would better serve the needs of everyone. I knew that this meant that I needed to obtain the knowledge and experience necessary to successfully run my own business one day.
After obtaining a Supply Chain Management degree from one of the nation’s top supply chain programs, I went on to gain 6 years of experience in retail and e-commerce at two leading retail corporations. I began my career as a Distribution Manager at JC Penney, where I pioneered improvement projects and got firsthand experience leading a team in a first-class, omnichannel distribution center. I then moved on to gain high level analytical experience as a Supply Chain Analyst at a fortune 1000 distribution company, where I worked daily with external vendors and internal branches to optimize inventory levels. As much as I loved working with very large, successful, and well established retailers, I was ready to pursue my dream to start my own retail business.
In 2019, after two years of being a side business, Elite Feet LLC was officially founded as a small shoe boutique. Since then, Elite Feet LLC has grown into a full-blown, omni-channel retail business, with a strong focus on e-commerce through our ShopLuckyCat.com platform.
